The event is called Menagerie and is Produced by RAW: natural born artists. Raw events are multi-faceted artistic showcases featuring a film screening, musical performance, fashion show, art gallery, performance art and a featured hairstylist and makeup artist. These artists are all local, hand-picked talent who have been chosen to feature at RAW.

About:

“Urban Planning” is a solo exhibition by multimedia artist Lauren Smith incorporating painting, drawing, installation and sculpture. The show conceptually explores the imagery and function of gutters and their downspout counterparts within a gallery setting.

Smith is a visiting artist in residence from Mount Laurel, New Jersey. This exhibition displays the work she has produced since moving to San Francisco in January just four short months ago.

A moment that lingers in time- The San Francisco Impressions.

Artist in residency Matilde Campbell is presenting an interactive arts project on Sunday April 22nd 6 PM at the CELLSpace Gallery.
The exhibition will display paintings and photographic prints. There will be a musical piece specially made to accompany the experience.
Visitors will be invited to write down handwritten impressions on living in San Francisco and place them on the walls.

The event is free entrance and the bar will be free until 8 PM. After that there will be a suggested donation of $4.

MoNkey BiZness, and exhibition of primal sights and sounds

The exhibition is not just a simple art show: it is much more complex than that. It is a movement, a kind of enlightened way of thought expressed through paintings on canvas, a street sticker campaign, 3D installments, and primal, hard-hitting sounds. The work is meant to unmask what we truly are: primal beings trapped inside a world that rejects us. The intent of the MoNkey BiZness collection is to unleash the primal being trapped deep within us, so that we can evolve and reach our full potential as human beings.Brad Bernhardt is a West Coast based visual artist currently residing in the San Francisco Bay area. He has been involved in many exhibitions, including his spring 2010 show “Weapons of Mass Consumption” that was featured in Las Vegas Weekly and the Las Vegas Informer. He also created over 40 signature works displayed on the popular television series the Ultimate Fighter, some of which were featured in the October 2010 edition of Maxim Magazine. He received a degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and has been working in the art and design worlds for the past 5 years creating a visual style all his own.
